LHS Students Need You!
The Edmonds School District has raised the mandatory participation fee from $100 to $125 per club/sport! Over 50 students were able to participate in after school activities last year due to the Booster Club's scholarship program.

Support LHS and Become a Booster!
We are looking for help from interested, committed people who would like to positively impact the lives of our students. Perhaps you'd be interested helping in one of the many areas that the boosters provide support. When you join, you get to determine which sport or club 80% of your membership fee goes to support — and ALL the money stays at LHS.
Did you know that last year the Boosters provided:
- $2500 in scholarships to outgoing seniors
- Over $2000 went to help students with scholarships to cover costs of participation fees for various clubs, sports, ASB cards, physicals and Yearbooks

Your Support of the Booster Club
Thus far this school year, your support of the Booster club has:
- ... provided over $4000.00 in scholarship money to LHS students so far this year. This has helped many athletes who are trying to cover a $125.00 mandatory sports fee for every sport played, a $45 mandatory ASB fee andrequired physicals. This moneyhelps outALL LHS students whether they are in sports or not.
- ... paid for half of a several thousand dollar shooting machine for the boys and girls basketball teams.
- ... paid for transportation for the wrestling team to go to a weekend tournament and for some "hospitality" food during their own tournament.
- ... bought a beverage cooler for the new concession stand.
- ... kept the concession stand stocked to give clubs and teams an easy way to earn money.
- ... provided a rooter bus for the pep band to go play for the girls basketball team at state.
- ... donated to a staff sponsored fund to provide food for students who aren't eligible for state funding.

Congratulations to the Lynnwood High School Band and supporters! You texted more than anyone else in our division winning $1000 divisional prize for our program in the Rock Wood Fired Pizza Battle of the Bands! Hooray! Hooray! Hooray! You may know this is more than 14 times our annual budget.
